Ponytail Palm Kokedama
Ponytail Palm Kokedamas almost resemble a beautiful living fountain with their long, flat and thin leaves. They are a very low maintenance indoor plant and super hardy.
They will grow best in a bright, indirect sunlit position in your surrounds. Typically they don't like to be over-watered, so allow the Kokedama to be light in weight before soaking, generally 2-3 weeks.
They are also popular in houseplants as they are known for being pet-friendly, so perfectly safe for your fur babies to be around.
PRODUCT INFO
Kokedama Ponytail Palm plant size will vary (due to availability of plant stock). Each living art creation is unique, but will look very similar to the Kokedamas pictured in this product catalogue.
The actual Ponytail Palm plant will be approx 20-30 cm in height from the top of Kokedama. Generally the Kokedama ball size for this product will be around the size of a rockmelon. All Kokedamas are made using combination of sphagnum moss, peat moss, soil, bark and twine.
Basic Care:
Due to kokedamas being moss based, the plant root system will absorb the moisture they need to grow from the kokedama ball. When the Kokedama ball becomes light in weight, the plant will generally need watering.
- Most of the time these kokedamas will need a soak once every 2-3 weeks.
- To water your Kokedama, they require a 10 minute soak with approx 5 cm of water, using a sink or bowl.
- After soaking the plant you will notice it is heavier in weight, due to the water absorbed.
- Kokedamas also like air flow, so recommend a stand to allow good air flow or hanging your kokedama.
